[SPONSORED #MISSJASJASXTRAVEL REVIEW] PASAR PAYANG + CHINATOWN + RUMAH WARISAN HAJI SU IN TERENGGANU ON DAY 2 PART 1

Isn't the building so colourful right? :)

25th June 2018 ; I have visited one of the markets in Terengganu is called The Central Market, locally known as Pasar Payang, is located by the Terengganu River and is one of the most popular tourist spots in Kuala Terengganu. It is also offers visitors a variety of traditional handicrafts such as batik, silk, songket, brocade and brassware as well as fresh produce items.

Welcome to Pasar Payang when you're in Terengganu :)

The "Pasar Payang" has 2 storeys building consisting of a wet market and a shopping arcade, it offers visitors a variety of items to purchase - from grocery items such as fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, "keropok lekor" and traditional products and souvenirs like batik, brassware, brocade and songket. You will have a delightful experience shopping in local fares at reasonable prices at this market.

The lychees look so pretty and I think it is yummy :)

These are turtle eggs that they sell at the market

Above all these 3 photos are "Akok". This dessert named "Akok" refers to a traditional cake and it is popular in Malaysia, especially in the East Coast in Kelantan and Terengganu. There are some types of "kuih akok" which are usually made of oval, follow the mold of the fruit and the flower or also known as the kakao. The sweetness is sweet. The contamination and burning are the fact that makes this "kuih akok" good. There are several colors of the "kuih akok". Don't worry, it is delicious dessert that I have tried.

Beautiful silks that you can make "baju kurung" for yourself

Kampung Cina is a Chinatown located in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia. Kampung Cina is located along Jalan Bandar (formerly known as Jalan Kampung Cina), in Kuala Terengganu city centre at the river mouth of Terengganu River that empties into the South China Sea.

Kampung Cina literally means Chinese Village and it is also called "Teng Lang Po" or KT's Chinatown by local people. It is one of Southeast Asia’s early Chinese settlements and contains stately ancestral homes, temples, townhouses, and business establishments. The town is small but has colourful shophouses along both sides of the road that carries traditional flavour.
